For couples who still want this
You haven’t given up on us. Good.
Not every relationship that’s struggling is ending. Some just need a better way to talk. Between is a calm voice guide that sits with the two of you, keeps things fair, and helps you find your way back to each other, one conversation at a time.
Audio is never stored. No one else has to know.

Maybe it sounds like this
You still love each other. It’s just gotten hard.
- We keep having the same fight. Different day, same fight.
- I say one thing, and somehow you hear something else.
- We’re not breaking up. We’re just… not okay.
- Lately we talk about bills, chores and the kids. Not about us.
- Therapy feels like a big step. And who would we even tell?
If any of these landed, you’re not alone, and you’re not doing it wrong. Every couple hits stretches like this. The ones who come through it usually aren’t the ones who never fight. They’re the ones who learn how to come back to the table.
Wanting to fix it is the brave part.
Couples often wait years before getting any help, usually because it feels like admitting something is broken. It isn’t. Choosing to work on it, while you still care, is the best time to start. You don’t need a crisis. You just need a way in.
How a talk works
Hard conversations, one turn at a time
Sit together, put the phone between you, and talk. The guide listens, keeps turns fair and never takes sides. The structure comes from well-studied couples methods: one speaker, one listener, and checking you understood before you reply.
1. You each get the floor
One of you speaks, uninterrupted. The guide keeps time and gently holds back the other, so nobody gets talked over.
2. You say back what you heard
Not whether you agree, just what you heard. The guide helps until your partner says, “Yes, that’s it.”
3. You agree one small step
Every talk ends with one concrete thing to try this week, with each person’s part. Small enough to actually do.

What starts to change
Not perfect. Just closer.
Nothing changes in one evening. But small, fair conversations add up, and you start to recognise each other again.
- The same argument on loopKnowing what the argument is really about
- Waiting for your turn to defend yourselfBeing curious about what they meant
- Going to bed angry, or going quiet for daysA ten-minute talk that ends with a plan
- “You never…” and “You always…”“What I need is…”

Your first session
It starts with how you started
Before helping with anything hard, your guide asks about the two of you: how you met, what you first noticed, what you’ve already been through together, and what you’re hoping for. Most couples smile more than they expect to. And every session after that knows where you’re coming from.
Private and careful
What’s said between you stays between you
We know that in a lot of homes, asking for help with your relationship isn’t something you announce. You don’t have to.
Audio never stored
Transcripts are deleted after your summary is written, unless you choose to keep them. No family, friends or anyone else involved.
Fair to both of you
The guide never takes sides, never diagnoses, and makes sure you each get the same time to speak.
Safety first
If harm or violence comes up, it pauses and shows helplines privately. Our safety approach

Questions couples ask
What is Between?
Between is a voice app for couples. A calm AI guide runs a structured conversation: each of you gets uninterrupted time to speak, the other says back what they heard, and you finish by agreeing one small step to try that week.
Is Between therapy?
No. Between is relationship support, not therapy or counselling. The guide doesn't diagnose or treat anything and can't respond to emergencies. If you're struggling a lot, a qualified couples therapist is the right next step, and our Safety page lists free helplines in India.
Do we both need to be there?
For sessions together, yes: you sit together at one phone or laptop and talk out loud. Each of you can also have private sessions to prepare for a hard conversation.
How does the guide know who is talking?
It gives one person the floor at a time, and you each record a short voice sample when you set up. If it isn't sure who spoke, it asks you to tap your name.
Which languages can we use?
You can speak English, Hindi or a mix of both. Written summaries are in English for now.
